Round robin rapier tournament to select the next Captain of Her Excellency’s Own Grenadiers with the top 4 going into semi-finals.
It’s springtime and the bunnies are up to shenanigans. This will be a shorter archery range, so we built the competition to be a challenge with that in mind, however it is open to all levels of participants. There will be limited loaner archery gear available so please bring your own kit, with at least 6 arrows, if you can.
Archery range is scheduled to open at 11:00 am and our aim (pun intended) is to open with equipment inspections, competition signup, and warmups at that time. Your equipment must be inspected to shoot. The competition will begin at 12:30 pm. We want to start at 12:30. Please sign up and be inspected before 12:29. The range will only be open to the competition at that time.
If you are a marshal please come and help with inspections (even if you are also shooting). Also, if you are a marshal, come by and hang out with us! The more eyes on targets and archers, the safer we all will be.
*An Tir Rules apply to all things archery, please be kind to marshals (and everyone for that matter).
With the event mainly being in one hall, you won’t have to miss out during a gate shift! For those interested in gate shifts, please contact Máel Brigite ingen Aimirgin, bandersondowd@gmail.com
Feast tickets have sold out, but kitchen crew is still needed and you will be fed! For those interested in kitchen crew, please contact the feast steward, Lady Mhairi nic Chamarran, winddancer37@gmail.com
