The Barony of Blatha An Oir invites you to our traditional mid-winter event on February 15th, 2020.
The day’s activities will include a Swap Meet, Baronial Court, a Pot-Luck Feast, and A&S Classes and Activities. Enclosed flame candles and festive table decorations are encouraged.
Please bring your own tablecloths and table decorations to fit standard round or 6 foot rectangular banquet tables.
Alcoholic beverages are allowed (in period containers please). An open Gaming table will be provided. Bring your tabletop games to share.
Tables and a garment rack will be provided for your Swap Meet items. Please put your name (seller) and the price on each item. Financial transactions, barter, etc. are strictly between the buyer and the seller. There is a large parking lot at the facility, so we have plenty of room for you to bring vehicles and trailers for sale. All items not sold or given away must be removed prior to resetting the tables for the feast.

Meal Information
Potluck Dinner:
Each adult please bring a potluck contribution – an appetizer, main dish, side dish, salad, or dessert, to serve 8-10 people. If your food needs to be served hot, please bring it in a crock pot or other heating/serving dish. We have plenty of space to plug in crockpots, and plenty of refrigerator space for items that need to be kept cold. Please be generous with your contribution. Don’t forget to bring a serving utensil. Cards will be available to list your ingredients.
The Barony will provide two potluck feast contributions:
Roast Beef with Sauce on the side: a garlic herb sauce based on period recipes from Early French Cookery by D. Eleanor and Terence Scully.
Homemade Gluten-free biscuits/bread and French Bread. Served with Butter. Baked on site.
