Greetings to the Knowne World:

 The Principality of the Summits and The Shire
of Briaroak invite you to the Summits archery
Championship and Briaroak’s Bash. Come and Compete
for the Captain of the bow, Briaroak’s Defender and
Briaroak’s Arts & Sciences Championship. There
will be a Secondary prize tournament, youth Scavenger
hunt and classes for those who wish to learn. As with
every year we will have potluck feast, their
highnesses will hold court and there will be a
mid-eastern style trading blanket (Bards, Drummers
and Dancers are Welcome). We have several merchants
already confirmed and more are welcome (Please
contact a member of the Autocrating team for more
information as space is limited. We have a couple of
confirmed classes and are looking for a couple more
(Please contact the Autocrating team for more
information.)

Defender Tourney Style: 3 weapons
Styles(no repeating in consecutive rounds) Double
Elimination with an Armored fighting foot race being
the final round

Prize Tourney Style: Open Weapon

1st Round Bear Pit This round will
last 15 minute in which the first person will enter
the Erik and fight until defeated

2nd Round Buy a nut, All fighter
will enter the Erik and pair off on there own, when a
fighter is defeated he will present his Blue nut the
whomever the winner names. Once all the Fighters
initial Blue nuts are gone then they are done (First
5 nuts are free additional nuts are available for
purchase(Proceeds to go to the Summits Travel Fund))

3rd Round 1st Fight: The Winner of
the Bear Pit vs. the Fighter with the most wins from
2nd round 2nd fight The Fighter with the most fights
vs. The Wild Card 3rd fight the winners of the 1st
and 2nd fight to be the winner

Site Fee;

Adults $12

Youths 10-17 $7

Children 10 and under Free

Family Cap $40 (Family consist of 2 adults and any
number of directly related children)

(Family is as defined by mundane law not SCA family
or Houses)

(A $3 non member surcharge will be charged for every
Non Member Adult Checks must be made payable to SCA,
Inc. Shire of Briaroak)

Fire Policy

As of 7/20/09 There will be “NO” fires at individual
camps. We are in
negotiations with the Fire Chief to have a communal
fire pit. we will make more
announcements as they come available.
