Nature is coming alive, spring is upon us and our thoughts naturally turn to the excitement of the tournament. Plan to begin your tourney season at Bar Gemels. This year Bar Gemels is at a new site that provides snug cabins, a warm great hall, a large archery range, and plenty of room for tournaments and other activities.
Come enjoy the bardic circle, classic tavern brawl (weapons limit 30″, no shields), double elimination tournament (standard weapons and shields), unarmored bar wench smackdown, rapier tournament (round robin and silly off-hand fighting implement), medieval games, classes, youth armored combat and silent auction. Archers prepare for York round, string shoot, Dublin shoot, plus youth range. Bar wench smackdown rules: Bring your own weapons that mimic tavern items. Only for novices; authorized swordswomen are not eligible to fight.
Delicious feast and fare supplied all weekend for modest fees. There is a fast moving river on site that will be off-limits. Site is discretely wet.
