Autumn Gathering

Shire of River’s Bend

Join the shire for a day of friendship and fun.

***We are at a new location this year***

 

UPDATES!!!

 

There will not be formal Ithra classes, but there will be casual informal classes

Bead Embroidery – HL Magda of Deerhurst

Historical Music Appreciation – Lady Serena Zane

 

There will be a Subtlety Contest,

With a Autumnal Theme

 

Also 

a Bake Sale with proceeds going to the Shire Archery office

and a Fabric sale with proceeds going to the Shire Gold key office

 

We will have activity tables set up for sewing, scribal, games,

heraldry and children’s activities

There will be a Chess Tournament

 

We will also have a Checkers Tournament for the young ones

who do not want to participate in the Chess Tourney

 

There is also plenty of room outside if the Heavies and the Rapiers would like to polish their skills

 

This will also be a good day to bring your “UP’s”

Unfinished Projects – maybe the ones that have not seen the light of day for a while (-;

 

Site fee – Nonmember surcharge ($3) applied to Nonmember Adults (18 and over)

Sites fees – Adult (18 and over) $5

Youth (5-17) $2.50

Child (0-4) Free

Lunch will be provided for a donation of $3

Feast will be potluck, bring dish according to Mundane last name

It is requested the members of the Shire please bring a Main or secondary dish.

The Shire will provide bread

 

A-F  Main Dish

G-M: Vegetable side dish

N-S:  appetizers

T-Z: Dessert(s)

 

Please no open flames,

the LED tealights are a great option

This is a dry site

 

Smoking in designated areas only

Gate open – 10am

Lunch – 11-1

Chess Tourney – 1 till finished

Potluck feast – 6pm

Site closes at 10pm
