Rivers Region has a long legacy of educational events from Ithras, War Colleges and Sport of Kings to name a few; An Tir Arts Academy, “Living the Dream, the Arts of the SCA” is planned as an event which will encompass the spectrum and diversity of interests that characterize the SCA.
Nine tracks of classes will be presented over four days, culminating in a day of tournaments and presentations, feasts and festivities. On the final day, many of the skills and items created during the prior days will be presented. There will be fighting tournaments, a fashion parade, dancing, bardic performances and revels on the eric. There will be a Children‘s track with young people‘s versions of these same activities – simple cooking, simple music, simple dancing. Boffer fighting, simple crafts, etc.
Featuring a Tourney like no other the Iron Trident, for one and all!
A punch card meal plan if you don’t want to worry about cooking and cleaning.

Directions to Site:
From North: Take best route to I-5 south. Take exit 36 to merge onto Tennant Way/WA-332 W towards Industrial Areas/US-30. Continue on Lewis & Clark Bridge into Oregon. Merge onto US-30. Turn left at park entrance at milepost 41. Follow SCA signs.
From South: Take best route to I-5 north. Take exit 299B on the left to merge onto I-405 north toward Beaverton/US26 W/City Center; take exit 3 to merge onto US-30 W and St. Helens; take a slight right at NW St. Helens Rd/US-30 and continue to follow US-30 to milepost 41; turn right into park entrance and follow SCA signs.

In regards to marijuana laws, all SCA participants should follow modern law, both State and Federal. As it is still illegal under Federal law, marijuana is prohibited at SCA functions. Make checks payable to SCA, Inc (Barony of Stromgard). |
