Join Glymm Mere as we enjoy the foods of the Spice Road from China to Yemen. There will be classes and entertainment throughout the day. There will be a silent charity auction benefiting Senior Services for South Sound. There will also be a dirty half dozen largesse competition. More information to come!
Pre-Registration is Open!
Folks who would like to attend just the event may pre-register or pay on site (cash or check).
Feast Pre-Registration will close when we reach 175 guests. If we don’t reach 175 pre-registered feast participants before the event – some feast seats may be available on site day of.
Hooray!  There will be fighting!  Heavy and rapier tournaments will be held down the block at the Lacey Regional Athletic Compound.  There may be Cut & Thrust as well.

  • Course 1 –
    • mushroom dumplings : mushroom, cabbage, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, black
      pepper, dumpling wrappers (Enriched Wheat Flour, Water, Vital Wheat Gluten, Salt, Citric Acid Dusted With Cornstarch) – gf alternative can be discussed
    • scallion pancake : wheat flour/gluten free flour blend, rice flour, water, scallion, sesame
      oil/veg oil, salt, water
    • char siu chicken : chicken/tofu, garlic, brown sugar, hoisin, honey, light soy, oyster sauce,
      5 spice powder, sesame oil
    • veg stir fry : celery, mushroom, carrot, ginger, soy sauce, 5 spice, sesame oil, hoisin, water
      chestnuts, bamboo shoots, salt, white pepper
    • dipping sauces : (may include) soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, Chinese mustard, garlic,
      ginger, salt, green onions, sesame oil, plum sauce, citrus juice, white/black pepper
  • Course 2 –
    • fish and rice cakes : white fish/tofu or other sub, banana leaf, lemon grass, rice, scallions,
      salt, ginger, salt, lime juice
    • Thai style coconut curry soup : coconut milk, vegetable broth, carrots, ginger, galangal,
      lemongrass, fish sauce, mushrooms
    • Isaan style lettuce cups : lettuce, chicken/tofu, rice, shallots, green onion, fish sauce,
      galangal, kefir lime leaf, coriander leaf, brown sugar, salt, dried chili
    • side veg : cucumber, radish, cabbage, and possibly other seasonal surprise options
  • Course 3 –
    • Marinated chicken (tofu/fish can be sub) : chicken, yogurt, ginger, curry powder,
      garam masala, paprika, salt, pepper
    • Yogurt flatbread : flour, yogurt, baking powder, salt
    • Jasmine Rice : rice, veg stock
    • Lentil dal curry : lentil, onion, carrot, spinach, veg oil, curry powder, ginger, garam masala
    • Roasted seasoned cauliflower : cauliflower, veg oil, spices, salt, pepper
    • Carrot Salad : carrots, raisins, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, salt, toasted cashews
  • Course 4 –
    • Kofta : ground beef or falafel on pre request, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, fresh parsley,
      pepper, salt, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, allspice
    • Kebabs, chicken, veg. : chicken, mushroom, onion, eggplant, bell pepper, squash, yogurt,
      spices, salt, lemon, rosemary
    • Flatbread : flour/gf flour blend, yogurt, salt, baking powder
    • Hummus (mostly traditional) : chickpea, tahini, oil, salt, cumin, coriander seed, lemon
      juice, garlic
    • Baba Ghanoush : eggplant, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, cumin,
      coriander seed
    • Salad : cucumber, yogurt, onion, spices
  • Afters : assorted treats from around the region to surprise and delight, along with fruits
    and cheeses

Tournament Information

Tournaments will be held at the Lacey Regional Athletic Complex down the block from the site.

Volunteer Information

We’re actively looking for volunteers for scullery/kitchen and gate!
