It’s time to determine Dragons Mist’s new Baronial Champions for our Youth and our Armored combatants! We will also have rapier, A&S, bardic, board games, and a youth activity.

Site Notes
Our shady park site is mulched and has lots of picnic tables, with a nearby grassy clearing. Our event is directly south of the parking lot, along NE 24th Ave.
Per city park rental policy, NO stakes of any kind are allowed in the ground. Use of popups is VERY limited– please contact the Event Steward in advance if use of one is crucial for your day trip. This is a DRY public site. Pets must be on a leash at all times. Bring your own picnic lunch!
Waterbearing
A big flat of bottled water will be available for thirsty fighters, marshals, and those in need! We will have the water bottles located near the eric for easy self-serve.
Tournament Information
Armored Defender Tournament
Our current champion, HL Ronan Mac an Leagha, is hosting a tourney to find the next Dragon’s Mist Armored Champion. This will be a single or double round-robin tourney (based on number of combatants). The top 4 will advance to the semi-finals (best 2 of 3), with a best 3 of 5 finals.
Rapier
Bring your best weapons styles for a fun tournament with game elements that will emphasize your ability to control the fight and influence your opponent. There will be plenty of fighting for all in this unique rapier tournament.
Youth and Family Activities
Youth Championship
Our current Junior Youth Champion, Milord Clark of Stromgard, and Senior Youth Champion, Lord Gilbert of Dumfries, are excited to find their successors! This year, we again host a “Dragon in Any Medium” creativity contest: do something creative with dragons, in any format you’d like. For a bonus, if you choose to do so, our Champions challenge you to also answer the question, “Where do dragons come from, or how are they raised?”
Come to the Champion’s Event and bring your creative entry!
Youth Activity
We’ll have a few A&S activities for folks of all ages. Come to the youth activity table to color a period paper doll and/or learn to make tassels!

Classes Offered
Board Games
Come learn to play a board game or enjoy an old favorite! Our Board Game Coordinator will be running games at picnic tables, ready to teach you the period classics or match you up with a great game. Bring your own games or choose from some we’ll have at the ready.
Bardic
Are you a fan of The Princess Bride? Do you consider yourself to have mad rhyming skills? Have we got a competition for you! Come out to the Dragon’s Mist Championship Tournament and join in on our first ever Fezzik Rhyming Tournament. This is a just for fun and prizes (and bragging rights) competition. The more the merrier! Come laugh with us!
Arts and Sciences

Contestants will make five (5) items suitable for largesse (this should be five of the same item, although colors may vary)

Entries will be displayed during Dragon’s Mist Champions, but this is not a championship competition–this is for fun, to see what people are making, and to build up our selection of largesse

Judging will be by populace choice

The winner will receive one of each item entered in the competition with the rest of the items going into the largesse reserve
