This is a Level 1: Coronet Event (Principality Coronet Tournaments and Investitures) event.

The Shire of Mountain Edge is pleased to welcome the Summits for the first time! Please join us to witness Weylyn ibn Rustam and Lindis de Aquisgranno surrender the Alpine Thrones to their heirs Ivan Shieldbane and Mina de filia Philipe. Watch our heavy combatants vie to be the next Summits Defender! Witness the investment of Their Alpine Highnesses.

Site Information

Gate Opens Friday at 3:00 pm.
Site closes at 1:00 pm on Sunday the 18th.

The road to site is one way only. There will be staff to direct traffic during hours listed below. We highly recommend populace not go on or off site during those hours, unless an emergency.
Friday: 3-9pm
Saturday: 8am-9pm
Sunday:  9pm-1pm.
The driveway is an upward winding hill with a well maintained gravel road. Once in, some roads are medium sized gravel and others are grassy trails.
As for camping, there is a large field with a gradual hill going down, and areas along one side, parking on the other side.
The main area for tournament and court will be accessible with a drop off area.
Parking is past check in gate.

Facilities

There are no camping facilities, this includes potable water.  Please bring any water or power for electrical devices you may need for the duration of the event.

There will be portable toilets.

Pets

Dogs are allowed but they must be on leash or in a kennel.
The site is on the edge of the wilderness and there are wild animals.

Fires

Fires are allowed but they must be 18″ off the ground.
A fire extinguisher must be easily accessible in case of emergency.
Please take your ashes with you when you leave site.

Sanitation

  • TRASH: Please take your trash and recyclables with you when you leave the site.
  • GRAY WATER: Please do not dump your gray water.  There will be a gray water station for it to be disposed in.

Pre-registration is available.  This makes processing at Gate more efficient, which makes everyone happier.  Please take the time to pre-register here.

Tournament Information

Summits Defender Tournament

The tournament will be a Double Elimination Tournament. Fighters come armed as ye will and is appropriate with our tournament conventions (bring your best, standard shield size)
Finals will be determined by three victories out of five bouts.
Bi fights will be non-destructive and simultaneous kills will be refought immediately.
All Summits authorized fighters in good stand with current memberships are welcome. As well as any guests Their Alpine Highnesses see fit to invite.
