Join us under the moon-shadowed sun to vie for glory in the Barony of Three Mountains’ Archery Championship (aka the Wolf Fork Invitational) and Thrown Weapons Championship! Can you eclipse the competition?
In addition to the championships, there will be related activities, classes, games, and a silent auction. Food will be provided by the Virgin Countess Inn for an additional fee.
Parking is somewhat limited depending on how recently there has been rain. Carpooling is appreciated!
While we anticipate pleasant weather in the 60s, please feel free to bring a cloak or coat, and while you’re at it, possibly a chair to rest them on if not needed. As with most working horse arenas, chairs are in short supply, as horses categorically refuse to use them for reasons only they can explain.

This is a working horse farm, with all that implies.
No pets allowed. Service animals must be leashed at all times, and if disruptive, may be asked to leave.
This is an outdoor event. As we all know, mid-October weather in the Pacific Northwest can range from lovely to miserable. Please check the forecast and be prepared! The arena is covered but not enclosed.
The paths are gravel, but the underlying soil is soft. Depending on the recent weather, the ground may not be accessible for some wheeled devices. The covered arena has paved or packed walking areas and the raised platforms are wood desking.
There may be an accessible drop-off area with valet parking available. Please contact us for more information.
Site fee | $25, free for children and youth up to 18 |
Lunch and beverages available for an additional fee | |
*SCA Members will receive a $5 member discount off the cost listed above. |

It would be best for folks to bring a reusable mug though we will have paper cups available. We will also have paper bowls and plastic flat ware for folks to use. Folks are of course welcome to bring their own feast items though they will need to take their dishes home soiled. We recommend they bring a plastic bag for transporting them in.
Vegetarian food will be available. For those with dietary restrictions or other concerns, please contact us, or make other plans in order to ensure your health and safety.
***Three Mountains Archery Championship, aka Wolf Fork Invitational***
Salutations to all the good folk of our chosen lands, winter is coming …
Our mighty warrior-archer Robert of Wolfford seeks a sturdy bow arm and keen eye to guard our fine lands. Brave the cold, and the ice to test your mettle against our outgoing Champion’s gauntlet.
4 times you shall be challenged before your final confrontation! Bring your skills at unknown and varying ranges, multitude of target sizes, unfamiliar targets, and the most diabolical of all, THE SPHERE. All culminating to the crescendo of our top three most robust huntspersons battling in a final and decisive winner take all final round.
*All SCA equipment standards apply; you will need 3-4 arrows at each round, (recommend having a minimum of #6); You will be required to stand and sit, shoots will not have bending, kneeling, climbing. The range is covered, but be prepared for a cold day.
***Three Mountains Thrown Weapons Championship***
Prepare to eclipse the competition to prove your worthiness to become the Barony of Three Mountains next Thrown Weapons Champion!
***For both competitions:***
You must declare your intent to compete at Morning Court. Puppet shows, sackbut marching bands, and flaming arrows are optional, but should you require accommodation for such things, please clear them with our herald and court coordinator.
To vie for the honor of being our next champions, you must be ready to fulfill the duties required of our champions.
There will be games and other activities for families and children. All minors must have an accompanying adult with them.
We would love for you to join us in making this event successful and fun for all! We can use people in all areas — let us know what you are interested in helping with and we will connect you to the right staff person!
While the championships are taking place, there will be activities available for those who are not competing.
