The Canton of Caladphort welcomes you to the second annual Rose and Thorn Symposium. Join us as we celebrate the women and gender diverse combatants of all disciplines! We will have classes! We will have panel discussions! We will have Knights, MoD’s, and champions doing one on one training! And of course we will have tournaments!

The tournaments are open to women and gender diverse fighters. Gentlemen, have no fear, if you want to fight there will be pickups going most of the day Saturday and Sunday (as long as we have marshals available) that you’re welcome to jump into.

 

We will also be having a fundraiser to benefit a charity for survivors of domestic violence so bring your generosity.

 

Gate fee is $25 for nonmembers, $20 for members. Youth are free.

Rapier: Bring your sword, all of your offhand weapons, and your head for strategy as this tournament will pit you against your opponents in a test of skill and strategy. The exact details of the tournament will vary depending on the number of fighters present, but come prepared for lots of steel and lots of fun.

Heavy Sir Vitus Tournament Bring your best style, best of three, round robin tournament. Any two shots (body-body, arm-leg, head-leg, etc…) counts as a kill. The first shot is not acted out.

Cut & Thrust: Bring your best fight and come prepared to face off against some of the best Cut and Thrust fighters An Tir has to offer. Exact format will depend on the number of participants, but there should be plenty of fighting for everyone who attends.
