Come one, come all to
Seagirt’s Summer Tourney and SYG Trials!
This year, SST (Seagirt Summer Tournament) and
SYG (Sergeants Yeoman and Gallants Trials) have been merged into a
single event.
Please
note that due to fire bans, there can be no open flames at this
event – no cooking fires, tiki torches, or candles please.
Propane fire pits and briquette BBQs are allowed. Thank
you.
Two gentles will
be vying for the honour to represent Seagirt in the Sergeants,
Yeomen and Gallants trials. Come and give them your support as they
endure the trials to prove their worth to Baroness
Letitia!
There will be a
heavy tournament! There will be a rapier tournament! There will be
lots of archery!
Besides the official activities planned for the
weekend it is hoped to have an extravaganza of archery happening,
with regular Royal Rounds, the Seasonal Archery Shoot (SSAC), the
Royal Archers challenge (Double Royal Rounds) and even York and
Clout shoots if the layout can be achieved. We also hope to have a
variety of levels of archery instruction available for just about
everyone.
Along with the SYG trials and archery
championship, we will have a heavy tourney, a rapier
tourney, and an A&S competition.
