Come one, Come all !!!

The SCA – Society for Creative Anachronism – Is hosting a Medieval
event, open to all those who want to learn about what our group has
to offer.

When : April 30th, 2011
Time : 12 noon till 4 pm
Where : Rudd Park, ( Corner of Harriet and Irma Street )
Cost ” ITS FREE “

What will be there you ask….well..

Full Armored Combat ( Like the Knights in Shining Armor )
Fencing ( Similar to the Musketeers )
Archery ( NO, we will NOT be shooting Bows, Just a Display table
)
Dancing ( Demonstration and Teaching if you wish to learn )
Displays of all that we do and have to offer within the group and
the people to ask the questions of.

What do you need to bring ?
Just yourselves, and a mind full of questions.

So, bring your Friends, Family and come out and step back in time,
to when Honor and Chivalry was prevalent in all that was done.

10 – 1145 Am Set up

12 – Demo Starts
12:10 – Heavy ( 20 Mins )
12:30 – 5 Minutes to wander
12:35 – Fencing ( 20 Mins )
12:55  – Minutes to wander
1:00 – Dancing ( 20 Mins – teaching one to Public )
1:20 – 5 minutes to wander
1:25 – Heavy ( 20 Mins )
1:45 – 5 Minutes to wander
1:50 – Fencing ( 20 Mins )
2:10 – 5 Minutes to wander
2:15 – Dancing ( 20 Mins – teaching one )
2:35 – 5 Minutes to wander
2:40 – Heavy
3:00 – 5 minutes to wander
3:05 – Fencing
3:25 – 5 minutes to wander
3:30 – Dance
3:40 – 5 Minutes to wander

Childrens Combat will be happening as well through out the day.
Will confrim this the day of.

Later that Night will be a Masqued Ball, that will entail some of
the dances learned during the day, being done at the ball. Costume
not required, but recommended. There will be a door charge for the
ball.
