Greetings to the Populace of An Tir!

‘Tis the season of celebration!  A time for merriment,
feasting, fighting and entertainment.  The Barony of
Vulkanfeldt invites one and all to join us for our annual Yule
Feast and Champions Tournament on December 1, 2012.  There
will be three championship competitions: Heavy fighting, Rapier
fighting, and Arts & Sciences.  Tournaments are open to
any who wish to enter.  Bring song and tale to share as we
feast. 

 

This year, we’ll be in Ellensburg, convenient to our neighbors
to the west and east.  There will be a brewing competition
this spring at Baroness War; come pick up hops from Baroness Regina
to add to your brew for extra credit in the competition. 

 

Armor check starts at 11:00am and fighting will begin at
12:00.

If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, come anyway, there will be
space!

Site fee is $15.00 for member 14 and older, $10.00 for youths 5
– 13, children 4 and under are free. There is a $5.00 non-member
surcharge in effect. Make checks payable to SCA, Inc – Barony of
Vulkanfeldt. Reservations are not required, but
please send email to Elizabeth at ElizabethNance@gmail.com so we
have an idea of how many will be there (and how much to cook!).
Site fee will be collected at the gate.

Site Info:

The event will be held in Teanaway Hall at the Kittitas Valley
Event Center in Ellensburg.  Gate will open at 9:00am and
closes at 10:00pm.  The site is large enough for fighting and
the feast to be set up at the same time.
