Yule Feast Barony of Dragon’s Laire December 14, 2002
Longbranch Improvement Club Yule Feast is Dragon’s
Laire’s traditional event where our Baronial Arts and
Sciences Championship is decided. The date for entries as the
Champion has passed, however, if you wish to display for
comment a single item, please contact the Baronial Arts and
Sciences Minister, THL Kassandra, at 360-479-3499 (E-Mail
alaricus@msn.com) Besides the Art’s & Science display and
competition, there will also be A & S classes, Bardic
performances and competitions. A filking contest has been
proposed to bring laughter and smiles to all. Games will also
be available to enjoy in leisure throughout the day, and
maybe even some competitions. Weather permitting, the grounds
will be available for archery, heavy fighting and rapier
activities. The site will open at 10:00 AM, and closes at
10:00 PM. A & S entrants may arrive at 8:30 AM for
set-up. Opening Court will be at 10:00 AM, with the
competition beginning soon after. SITE FEE: $6 for adults $3
for children 6-13 Free for children 5 and under FEAST PLEASE
NOTE – THE FEAST TICKETS ARE ALL RESERVED NOW. If you have
made a reservation but have not paid, payment must be
received by November 15. After November 15, unpaid
reservations will be offered to those on the waiting list.
The feast will commence in the evening after the competition,
and will be of a German theme. For food allergy concerns,

catspawz@worldnet.att.net. Because of the size of the hall,
we must limit the number participants in the served feast to
100 in number. A paid reservation is a made reservation.
FEAST FEE: $7 for adults $3 for children 6-13 Children 5 and
under are free when accompanied by a paying adult (all site
fees will be collected at the gate on the day of Yule Feast

We have reserved room to accommodate 25 gentles to
‘picnic’ the feast. There is no charge for
picknicking, however, we will require reservationS so we can
ensure that we do not overfill the hall. Please contact the
autocrat for picknicking reservations (see above). THERE ARE
VERY FEW SPACES LEFT FOR PICKNICKERS.
