Dreading the coming privations of Lent? Fear not! Carnivale is here
to save you. Join us for one last celebration before Lent closes
in. Feast on delicacies the church forbids for the next 40 days.
Feasting! Fighting! Sumptuous Desserts! Join the no-documentation
A&S competition, a masqued ball, children’s activities,
the baronial A&S and Rapier Championships. Everyone interested
in joining any of the activities or championships is encouraged to

RECEIVED by February 1, 2005. Site Info: Polk County Fairgrounds,
520 S. Pacific Hwy. W, Rickreall, OR 97371. Event opens at 9am and
closes at 11pm. Dry Site. From I-5 South: Take the Salem
Parkway/OR-99E Exit (260A). Merge onto OR-99E . OR-99E becomes
Commercial St. NE. Turn right onto Marion St. NE. Marion St.
becomes OR-22W. Follow OR 22W 9.7 miles. Turn left onto OR-99W.
Fairgrounds on the left. From I-5 North: Take the OR-22 Exit (253)
toward Stayton/Detroit Lake. Turn Left onto OR-22/N. Santiam Hwy.
Continue to follow OR-22. Turn right onto ramp. Turn left onto
Bellevue St. SE/OR-22. Continue to follow OR-22W.. Take the OR-22W
Ramp. Turn left onto Marion Street Bridge/OR-22W. Follow OR-22W 9.7
miles. Turn left onto OR-99W. Fairgrounds on the left. Autocrats:
