In the dead cold of winter Borealis invites you to enjoy the heat of battle and the comfort of indoor camping. Join us for a day filled with heavy combat scenarios, rapier combat scenarios, target archery and a bardic competition. In the evening there will be a potluck meal followed by general merriment and mayhem because those who are so inclined may stay at the hall all night.

Site opens at 7 p.m. on Friday and closes just before noon on Sunday. Showers are available on site. Hall camping is available both Friday and Saturday night. There is no fixed charge for hall camping; however, a small cash donation and/or assistance with set-up and clean-up would be greatly appreciated.

Site fee: Adults $8.00, youth 12 – 17 $6.00, children under 12 free. Note that a $4.00 non-member surcharge will be applied to all adults who do not have proof of membership. Make cheques payable to ASCA Barony of Borealis.

Once again the feast will be potluck. To participate, please contribute a dish sufficient to feed 8 – 10 people according to your modern surname: A-K bring a main course, L-R bring appetizers and S-Z bring dessert. For those who choose not to participate there are restaurants and fast-food outlets in Wetaskiwin. A cash bar will be on site.

9:00 a.m. Rapier armor inspection begins
9:30 a.m. Rapier scenarios begin
12:00 noon Armored/Light inspections begin
12:30 p.m. Rapier scenarios end; Armored/Light scenarios begin
4:30 p.m. Armored/Light scenarios end
Pickups Rapier and Armored/Light till 6:00 p.m.
6:30 p.m. Potluck Feast begins
Feast, Bardic Competition and Court throughout the evening
