We welcome you all to our celebration of the
oldest archery event in An Tir! The next Shire Protector will be
chosen this weekend as well.   We will be offering events for
equestrians as well, and activities for children.  By popular
demand, we will again have our Ladies Tea on Saturday afternoon.
  We will have bocce, an Heraldic Scavenger hunt, and will
offer some of the best Thrown Weapons competition in the Known
World!  Would you like to learn how to play Kuub?  Come
and find out. On Friday night there will be a Traveler’s Meal
available for $3.00-Soup, bread, and Thyra’s Brownies.  Our
site is flat, and is very accessible to
scooters.

ARCHERY:Royal
Rounds, The William Tell Tournament, The Shire Protector
Tournament, The-Purple-Beast-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named Shoot,
Crossbow, Various Novelty shoots, Adult-Child Shoot, York
Rounds.  The castle will available for Combat Archery
again!  There are plans afoot for a raid on the castle and a
village (combat arrows only,please)  A letter of intention
needs to be submitted to the Seneschal before the Protector’s
Tournament for those who want to
participate.

EQUESTRIAN: Equestrian games will be offered for beginners,
intermediate and advanced.  Anyone wishing to help with ground
crew should contact the autocrat. Please watch this site for
updates in case Equestrian games need to be
canceled.

THROWN
WEAPONS: Thrown weapons will be
available, and some of the best competitors in the Known World will
be at this event!  There will be an Introduction to Thrown
Weapon on Saturday morning (10:00)

BOCCE: Because we have had so much fun with our Ladies
Bocce Tournament, we now have competition in this period game (also
called Italian Lawn Bowling) for men and
children.

LADIES TEA:
This will be the third Ladies Tea,
which is becoming an annual event.  This will be at the
covered area, and we encourage people to bring finger foods to
share their favorite treat.  Please list ingredients, consider
a sweet, a savory, or fruit/veggie tray.  We will provide teas
and juices, plates and cups as well as our favorite
bites. 

OTHER STUFF:
Heraldic Scavenger Hunt, Kuub (a
period Norse throwing game), classes, and there will be some
children’s activities.  Heraldic consultation will be
available, see the schedule on site.  Bardic fire will be
there and we welcome singers, musicians and story tellers! 
Merchants will be offering their wares, so please come and
shop.
