Greetings to one and all!

The Shire of Shittemwoode would like to thank Their Excellencies, Aquaterra and Lions Gate for the honor of battling it out for the rights to the blessed Royal Hunting Preserve September 12th -14th

The theme of the event will be Agriculture or more directly Agronomy – a branch of agriculture dealing with field crop production.  We plan on having Ithra classes, Guild displays, Bardic and many contests related to this theme.

7 War Points will be allotted as follows:  1 Field Combat (open field, bridge & castle scenarios), 1 Archery, 1 Rapier, 1 Bardic, 1 Arts, 1 Sciences and 1 Service. 

Bardic point entries must characterized by the event theme.
Arts point entries shall be a documented, head-worn item.
Science point entries shall be a document, agricultural tool (sorry no animals qualify)
Service points will be awarded by volunteers claiming their service for gate, safety watch, waste management, setup/take down to a Baronial roster.

                         Kitsch contest entries and silent auction items can be dropped off.

Saturday –

Activites for this day are TBD:  Archery Range will be open, Ithra Classes still ongoing – Schedule provided at Autocrats’ Point, possible Youth Combat and Rapier events depending on number of interested parties.

Site fees:
Age 18 and over SCA members – $12.00 US; Correction) Age 17 to 6 – $8.00 US; 5 and under free; Family Cap of $40.00 US.  Canadian cash will be exchanged for US dollars prior to paying site fee.  Sorry, no Canadian checks accepted.

We are required to collect a non-member surcharge of $3.00 US for all non-members who are 18 or over.

NOTE:  RV/Modern Campers are subject to (Correction) Whatcom Co Parks $10/Night surcharge regardless of amenities available. This site has no power, water or sewer drop.  This additional fee of $10/night will be collected at Gate in addition to posted site fees.

Important Site Info:
*Site opens 4 PM Friday and closes at 4 PM Sunday (Addition)
*No Water onsite – please bring enough water for each person for 2 days.  Local amenities and grocery close to site.
*All pets required to leashed; all waste picked up and disposed by owner.
*Dumpster and Recycling containers will be available.
*RVs & Campers will be in a designated area – No exceptions.
*Period camping areas are available.
*Plan for all-weather in a freshly mown grass/hay field (hay fever, grass stalks, divots, gopher holes, etc.)
