Come one and all, The time has come again to compete for the honor of becoming the WARDOG of the Shire of Eisenmarche.

This day, our growing shire searches for a new war dog, which can lead us and bring a strong new energy to our war cries.

See the two- headed troll! . Face the challenge of the obstacle course. Obtain the honor of leading the shire in WAR.

Competitors will face a series of challenges to decide who will become our new WARDOG

Each competitor will choose one test to demonstrate their skills

Test of endurance
Heavies: Pell Pole hitting, followed by a Round Robin Tournament
Test of Sword
Fencers: Ring Lunges, followed by a Round Robin Tournament
Test of skill
Archers: Special target shooting
Test of creativity
Arts and Sciences: One item in memory of Kona to bring, one item to be made on site.
Test of mind
Bardic. One original piece also one poetic or lyrical piece

All competitors must then take part in the following
: Obstacle course, Potluck Popularity contest, War Alarm, Best Inspiration, Some surprise contests!!!

While our challengers are competing for the honor of the Shire let us not for get our ladies
A ladies tea will be held in the afternoon. This is a chance for us to share with one and another the qualities that we would like to encourage in our Lords and what we can do to inspire them.

Children: Boffer/whalebone tournament.. Scavenger hunt. Hunt for Kona’s tail

Saturday Dinner will be pot luck with prizes for best entrée (No not entrails) and dessert so lets see some culinary genius at work!!

Competitors are encouraged to camp for the weekend but this is not a requirement to compete for the title of Wardog. Non-competing participants are welcome (If you only want to fight, shoot or fight rapier, please come and test our competitors to your hearts content!

The site is discreetly damp, period drinking containers only. Local drinking laws apply.
