Their Excellencies, Baron Rurik and Baroness Isa of Vulkanfeldt,
wish to announce the annual Vulkandfeldt Yule. We invite all dear
friends near and far to join us in merriment, fighting and feasting
on Saturday, December 2, 2017, beginning at 10 AM until 7 PM. The
beautiful Baroness Isa will be hosting a Largesse competition, the
Sleigh Bell Six. The mighty and brave, Baron Rurik, would enjoy
Bardic during feast, do you have skills to share?

We will be having two Champions competitions:

Heavy Fighting – will Hammar take it for the 2nd year or will a new
champion rise to the occasion? The Heavy Championship will be held
round robin style, with the top 2 fighters in the finals!

Arts & Sciences – their Excellencies hope the wonderful artisans of
the Kingdom will enter this challenging competition. From our
current A & S Champion: “The A & S Championship is up for grabs.
This year there are two Championships, adult and youth. Winners
will be determined by populace choice, with Their Excellencies
having extra sway. This year, we are allowing culinary items as
entries. If you are entering a culinary item, please make
arrangements for it to be tasted in a neat, sanitary fashion. Good
luck, and have fun!” The rules: Preferably made within the last
year, no documentation required, enter as many as you like. Points
are not cumulative, each piece judged separately.

Championships are open to all that wish to enter! Heavy Fighters,
please have your fighter’s card!

Our current A & S Champion, Mistress Fiona ingen Conchabair, will
host a special Culinary Competition. Bring a dish of your liking
that utilizes the passionate Pomegranate!! Your dish can taste,
look, smell or just use Pomegranate! A special prize for the
winner, which will be chosen by a select panel of judges.

We will have a gift table! Bring a gift, receive a gift! Please be
sure gifts are age appropriate, wrapped and either adult or youth.
There will be separate tables for each!

This year’s feast will be a joyous potluck, with the Barony of
Vulkanfeldt providing meat. Potluck by mundane last name:

A-F: appetizers or snack items
G-L: veggies, a side dish of some kind or salad
M-S: desserts or sweet treats
T-Z: breads or cheese trays

$20 per adult ($5 member discount); children 17 and under free.
