Many are
the names who serve Her Excellency through the Order of Sergeantry
and the Order of Courtier.


Those looking to test their mettle and
join these Orders will need to pass through the
trials.


Candidates must have petitioned the
Baroness for permission to participate in these trials, and must
prepare to participate in a day of testing.


Candidates will be tested on fighting,
dancing, history, heraldry, armor, games, service, and courtly
behaviors.


Current and former members of these
Orders, as well as any and all who would like to help, are welcome
to join us for the day to assist in the testing.


This
years feast is completely potluck.
Please bring a dish to feed 10 people per each

Event Registration Fee:
Free event, At the request of Her
Excellency Gudrun, please bring a donation to the Tri-Cities Food
Bank. 


Hours: 10 am to 6 pm

Proposed schedule (subject to
changes/additions): 

9:00 am Doors open. Any candidates who
still need to take a written test may do so at this
time.

   Candidates set up pavilion
and court chairs

   Candidates set up display
of their petition letter, persona with documentation and
-device

10:00 am – Opening
Court

         
Presentation of Candidates with sponsors, Quest books to
Baroness

         
Presentation of scrolls to previous successful
candidates.

10:30 am – 12:00pm Armor Inspection by
candidates

         
Fighting/ armored activities

         
Baroness review of test results and Quest
books

12:00 pm – 1:00pm Court of
Love discussion with the Baroness to talk about the
candidates

1:00 pm – 3:00pm Dancing
and gaming

3:00 pm – 4:00pm Potluck
feast and bardic presentations

FEAST NOTE: In a return to Sergeant
Trials of yester-year we are holding an ALL potluck Feast. Main
dishes are needed as well as the usual items. A Google Doc to sign
up is available at:

Please contact the Event Stewards to let
them know what you will bring so they ensure we have enough of each
type of dish.

 Closing
court to follow or be held in conjunction with
feast.
