Barony of Seagirt (Victoria, BC)

Come One! Come All! Come to the Seagirt Summer Tourney! Everyone is
invited!

Please join Their Excellencies, Baron Eideard and Baroness Mogg as
Seagirt hosts prize tournaments in heavy combat, rapier, and
archery. 

 

The Marksman Archery Tournament has been moved from Daffodil to the
Seagirt Summer Tourney! This contest comes with a prize and the
title and responsibility of Marksman of Seagirt. Come out and
compete to be the new Marksman!

As Seagirt’s champion of archery, the Marksman’s
responsibilities are to rally combat archers for SeaLion War and
encourage archery within the barony. The Marksman has a place of
honour in the Court of Their Excellencies of Seagirt.

Updated Site Rules

Smoking is *only* in your own encampment. You must have a safe
disposal method for your butts, and water or fire retardant within
the camp in case of emergencies. Leave no butts on the ground and
do not dispose of them in the portable toilets!

Wood firepits, if allowed by the fire regulations at the time, must
be above ground. No ground fires at all.

12:00 noon Lists open for the Rapier and Heavy Tournaments

1:00 pm Rapier Tournament

3:00 Heavy Tournament

 

Sunday:

9
– 11 am Archery range and list fields open for practice

11 pm Closing Court

2pm Site closes

Fees: Adult (19+): $20, Youth (13-18): $10, Children (0-12): Free.
NMS applies.
Make cheques payable to the Barony of Seagirt. 

Additional site information:

There are mosquitoes on this site, commonly appearing at dusk. Bug
repellent is recommended.

Potable water is available.

There is limited space for RV’s. No hookups other than power, and
there is an additional charge. Contact the event steward in advance
if you wish to bring an RV.
