The Barony
of Wealdsmere invites you to join us for our annual
Tournaments for Heavies, Rapier and Games to benefit the
Marines Toys-for-Tots program.
To participate all challengers
must provide a new, unwrapped mundane toy of
$5 value (or more) as a donation. All non-competitors are
also strongly encouraged to donate a toy. A traveling trophy
of fine broadsword, blade and game board go with the new
Champions. The Champions are requested to attend court and to
return the next year to organize the
tournaments
There is to be
an Art and Science competition at
Octoberfest.
Please bring pieces that are still being worked on, at
least for display. This is one way of showing others the
different types of things that we do. Who knows there might
be something out there that will make even you go “I
wish I could do that.” and then you would know who to
speak with to help you learn a new skill.
