Murder in the Desert will host championships to determine Shire Heavy Defender, Adult and Youth Archery Champion, and Rapier Champion. Murder in the Desert will also be hosting the Captain of the Eagles Tournament. We ask everyone to bring a contribution to the ‘War Chest’. Attendees will be asked to form teams and will score points for participating in various activities at the event. Activities will include an All-ages Scavenger Hunt, period gaming, war scenarios, and bardic. The winning team will receive a reward for being the most active ‘murder’ at the event and be the first to choose from the ‘War Chest’. The winners will be announced after Saturday’s Potluck. Friday evening there will be a community soup for all arrivals to partake from. We will be very grateful for any contribution that you might make to the soup when you arrive. On Saturday there will be a meat and cheese tray offered for a day board and we will have a potluck that evening. For all period surnames beginning in A to G please prepare a side for that potluck, all period surnames beginning in H to P prepare a main dish, and all period surnames beginning in Q to Z please prepare a dessert or a bread. This is going to be a fabulous event! We look forward to seeing you there!

Meal Information

Friday evening there will be a community soup for all arrivals to partake from. We will be very grateful for any contribution that you might make to the soup when you arrive.
