The Shire of Mountain Edge will be hosting a pair of tournaments to determine their new Heavy and Rapier Defenders. There may be a number of other activities throughout the day.

Registration Information

Pre-registration for the Mountain Edge Defenders tournament is now open.

Please note that pre-registration is required to attend this event.   We hope you will join us.

Although the SCA complies with all applicable laws to try to ensure the health and safety of our event participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious diseases during in-person events.  By participating in the in-person events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks.  You agree to take any additional
steps to protect your own health and safety and those under your control as you believe to be necessary

Event Schedule

10 am Gate opens
11 am Heavy Armor Inspection
12 noon Heavy Tournament begins
1 pm Rapier Armor Inspection
2 pm Rapier Tournament begins
3 pm Shire Moot and Investiture of the new Defenders
5 pm Clean up
6 pm Site Closes

Tournament Information

There will be two tournaments.  One for Heavy fighters and one for Rapier.   The format is still TBD and will be impacted how many fighters are present for each tournament.

We are looking for marshals, so if you would like to Marshal either tournament, please let the Event Stewards know.

Youth and Family Activities

Board Games, coloring, tabletop trebuchets and story-telling.   There will be a Kubb set available and a large field to set up on.
