MIDSUMMER’S CHAMPIONS

There is a new herd (of martial Champions) coming to the Shire of Hartwood. This July, hop over to the Shire of Hartwood for Midsummer’s Champions!

Come compete for a title or cheer on the competitors in Thrown Weapons, Rapier, Archery and Heavy Fighting. Browse merchants’ booths, for your shopping delight.
Take in a TUTR class or two, for your erudition.
Engage in the Embellishers’ Guild of An Tir Challenges, or observe, where the motto is, ‘It Needs a Little Something…’.
There’s camping. There’s a Bardic Circle! There’s Tucker Inn food!! There’s a rabbit cavalry!!!!!
All this and more – so come out to the Shire of 𝙷̶𝚊̶𝚛̶𝚎̶𝚠̶𝚘̶𝚘̶𝚍̶, er, Hartwood’s Champions!

Classes Offered

Making Soap
Taught by THL Merewen de Sweynesheie

We will make our own batch of soap in class while discussing the history and chemistry of soap making. Discussion may extend to other personal care products documented in period texts. Every participant will take an active part in the soap making process and will leave with a bar of soap they helped to make.

Time: 2 hours, 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

Cost: $2 material fee.

Max: 15 participants.
