Medieval Market Day

The Market will include many SCA makers and sellers of good things, some in medieval style, and sometimes with medieval-style tools. The Listfield will include demonstrations of armoured combat, and rapier (fencing), too. Throughout the site will be demonstrations of medieval and renaissance trades and home skills. The Stage will have music and other entertainment.

This event includes the following activities and/or services:
Has Merchants
Has Heavy Fighting activities
Has Rapier and/or Cut & Thrust activities

Englishman River Falls is a beautiful provincial campground. You can, and should, book your site online starting March 14th for a May 14th/15th reservation. These disappear very quickly.

Coombs Country Campground is a very clean, friendly, and well organized place. The pool doesn’t open until the end of May, but there is a very pretty man-made lake and a great little store. Minutes away from Goats on the Roof.

The Travelodge is closest to site. Basic accommodation, but a great value in Parksville.

Sand Pebbles Inn is right on the ocean in Qualicum Beach if you’re looking to make it a bit more of a vacation, or just enjoy the water.

Crown Mansion is listed as it is an historical hotel. Pricey, but again, if you’re looking to add a bit of vacation, it’s a beautiful place.

The Ramada is listed for those who’d like to stay in Nanaimo. Good value again, and located right downtown for an easy walk to all the things.
