May Bardic and Bardic Defender
         Barony of Lions
May 2, 2009
     Vancouver, B.C.

The weather will be lovely and so will the company. Come to
May Bardic and Bardic Defender and have a fun time.

Croquet, boules, and nature await you outdoors. A games
tourney will run all day. Appreciating and supporting the
brave bards will lift your soul. Artisans can demonstrate
their techniques and wares. Throughout the day you will be
challenged to find medieval words and phrases with your gate
tokens. Prizes abound.

Potluck feast is organized by Morweena with a dish provided
by the Barony. She will shortly post suggestions regarding
the feast.
There will be a Dance appreciation following the feast and
final Bardic competition performances.  You may enter as
a single or a couple. The two required dances will be
selected and announced in advance (one lively, one
formal).  Everyone will dance at the same time and the
dances will not be called.  As the dances are occurring
favourite dancers in each category will be selected. The
prizes will be some of Ceara’s home made chocolate chip
cookies.  We need dessert at the feast after all!
