The Barony of Madrone
invites you all to participate in their first Master’s
Tournament!

This will be a day at
Marymoor Park featuring an accolade-style fencing tournament judged
the Masters of Defence. This round-robin tournament is designed to
showcase participant skill, chivalrous conduct, and knowledge of
period fencing style. The final victor will be selected at the end
of the day the sole discretion of the judges.

Entry into this
tournament will require a donation of $5.00, all of which will be
used for the purchase of rapier loaner gear (ex: masks, gorgets,
and gloves) for the Barony of Madrone. A prize will be awarded to
the tournament winner, crafted by Don Christopher Stanley.

An optional lunch
prepared by Megara will be available for an additional $5.00, the
proceeds of which will be donated to the Barony of Madrone. The
tentative menu consists of Greek Chicken Skewers, Cucumber Salad,
and Rice Pilaf. Food may be limited and will be available on a
first-come first-serve basis, so be sure to purchase early when you
arrive on site!

There will be no site
fee to attend this event, so it our hope that you consider joining
us for a beautiful summer day in the park!
