Junior Thrown Weapons Marshal Class – Aurelia (Debra MacWilliam)
Duration: 3 hours
Where: Thrown Weapons Range
What to bring: a chair, a pen, your SCA membership card
Class Size Limit: 6 Participants
Class materials will be provided. There will be limited loaner equipment available.
Cost: Your donation will go directly towards thrown weapons equipment for the Shire of Lionsdale.
The class will consist of two parts. The first part is a class setting where we will review marshaling requirements and the An Tir Book of Target (Jan 2017). The second part will be how to set up a range, range safety, basics of throwing and marshaling.
It will be beneficial for participants to prepare for class by reading the An Tir Book of Target ahead of time. Here is the link:
http://antir.sca.org/…/Book%20of%20Target%20%20-%20Jan%2020…

The class length will depend on the number of people in the class as each participant will need to demonstrate ability to run the range.
The class is open to everyone, however you must be 19 or older and hold a valid SCA membership to be warranted as a marshal.
Participants that are successful in demonstrating the required criteria will receive a sign off towards their Jr Thrown Weapons Marshal status.
