Tournament Information

Baronial Cut & Thrust Championship:

Hello students of the sword, masters of defense, provosts and scholars! It is my pleasure to invite you to come and compete for the title of Lions Gate Baronial Cut and Thrust Champion. There are few opportunities during the year to highlight this particular SCA activity and I hope that all those of you with Longswords tucked away, Backswords in your back room, Sideswords itching for action, Messers that ain’t messing around, and Arming Swords just looking for any excuse to throw on armour will hop in your carriage and bring all your swords to Lions Gate Trials where we shall challenge each other in joyful competition.

Baronial Combat Archery Championship:

Friends, bring out your blunted arrows and bolts and dust off your bows! Check your armour and bring your best, because after a long hiatus it’s finally time for the Lions Gate Combat Archery Championship!
The tournament will take place at Lions Gate Trials, in August 20th at noon. Format will be a standard corridor, with additional details decided on by the marshal.
Come compete and claim your rightful place in the Baronial Court.
