Greetings unto the populace of An Tir!

As the chill winds blow, the coming of winter is close by. Join
us at our “Last Chance” to camp this year. Watch with excitement
the One-on-One heavy fighting, or rapier. Enjoy the day watching
the best archers in the realms vie for our Baronial Champion. With
keen eye and steady hand, march into our thrown weapons competition
and give a great show in axe, knife and spear for the right to
become Dragon’s Laire’s Thrown Weapons Champion.

Beides the competitions, there will be on-going demonstrations.

Ladies Tea will complete the afternoon in the hall with our
Harvest Feast following. Bards are welcome at both.

Harvest Feast promptly after court Saturday.
$8.00 per person for feast tickets. Contact the
Co-Autocrat for reservations.

Site Opens : 3PM Friday and closes 3PM Sunday.
Gate Fee is $8.00 and $3.00 non-Member surcharge.

(make checks payable to Barony of Dragon’s Laire, SCA, INC.)

No Fee for Merchants (Prize donations accepted)

A Pied Piper will be arranging fun for the smalls.

A&S will have a celtic knotwork contest at Last Chance this year. Bring your
finished item, display it with a small piece of documentation. What it is,
where did it come from, what time frame does it come from, ow did you make
it. Very easy like one or two sheets of paper. Just to show a little
research.

Three categories

1) Paper draw a celtic knotwork design and add color on a paper.
2) Cloth this is cloth on cloth like applique or embroidery on cloth like
crewel stitch
3) Wood engrave or woodburn on wood and add some color
leather engrave on leather and add some color

All the items should be on a finished project ie paper can be a scroll. Cloth
can be on garb, napkins. Wood can be a board game or tourney box. Any item is
fine. We are looking more at the celtic knotwork.
All items cannot be older then 4 months old. This will give everyone the same
time frame to work on.
