Come one, Come all to the Faire in the Fall!  
All SCA folk are cordially invited by the Barony of Seagirt
and the Shire of Hartwood to attend The Island Fall Faire.
There will be much revelry to be had.  With Tournaments
in Arms in Heavy Armoured Combat, glorious feats of Archery and
lessons open to all in the swashbuckling arts of Rapier!  For

***For the A&S competition entires, a short write up will
do, however, if entering the most period category please have your
documentation in the Sunday before the event so the judges have
time to read up on the subject themselves.***
What if you don’t want to compete, but you do really cool
things and want people to know more about this?  We’d love to
see the amazing things you do!  Bring out your current
projects, make a display and show off your thrilling projects.
 They don’t have to be finished we’d like to see the creative
process as well!  This can be used as training for entry into
an A&S competition, or just because what you are currently
working on is so cool! Contact the event steward 2 weeks in advance
so that we can arrange table space.
There will also be local Merchats out to sell their fine
wares!  
Gala
Fabrics
:  save your shekels folks, Gala will
be out again with their fine selection of silks, wools and
linens!
House Blue
Dog
:  Our local Artisan Kjartan of House Blue
Dog will be out with all his awesome wood works, looms, shuttle,
game boards and more!
Cheesecake
Anyone
?  For the Cheesecake Aficionados in our
group the Cobble Hill Local Mimi McLaren will be bringing her
decadent and delicious Cheesecakes to sell. Don’t miss out on
these, we’ve tried them and they are to die for!
Ian
Cooper
will be out with his full woodworking
demonstration and selling his awesome buckets and wine kegs!
As this is a Demo there will be many demonstrations of SCA
skills.  From armouring, to woodworking, glass bead making and
martial arts. 
If you are camping remember to bring your extra blankets as it
is in the fall.  And to sweeten the deal there will also be a
a pajama party in the barn where those who don’t want to camp can
bed down in a heated building, there will be a movie and popcorn to
enjoy!

***10am all displays and demo displays must be
finished being set up at this time.***
***Anyone camping in the Stu Armour building must have
their bedding removed from the building by 10am as we may need the
space for Demos/Fighting if the weather is
inclement***

****There will be tours for the public (and SCA) every
30 minutes starting at 11:15am until 4:15pm****
