Honey War

The Baron and Baroness of Aquaterra, Andreu and Fiamma, invite you all to bring your warriors, archers, rapiers, craftsman, cooks and volunteers to Honey War. The Aquaterrans will, yet again, raid the sticky sweet hives of Glymm Mere’s Bees on June 17-19, 2005, at the Orting Site, Riverglenn Farms, 14715 S Fork Rd. E, Orting, WA. Baron Andreu extends his special invitation to Blatha An Oir, Dragonslaire, Madrone, and their allies, to come and meet his new friends from Lionsgate and Tir Righ.

There will be war points for all competitions. Competitions include Armored and Missile Combat, Rapier Combat, Archery, including One-on-one Combat, Royal Rounds and a Novelty Shoot. More competitions include Thrown Weapons, both Open Class and Women Only, Arts and Sciences contests. See our web site, www.baronyofaquaterra.org, for details. There will Siege Cooking Contest and a Trebuchet Golf Contest. The Wacky Tacky Water War will be conducted on Sunday afternoon. No water balloons and keep your ugly plastic gear hidden until its time to play. The pet leach law is in effect. No alcohol consumption by minors will be permitted. Pack our your own garbage.

Opening Court is Saturday at 10AM, Armor inspection at 11AM, Competitions close at 5PM, Evening Court at 6PM. Closing Court Sunday 3PM. Site opens at 12 noon Friday the 17th of June for merchants, and at 3 pm for all others, closes at 5 pm on the 19th of June 2005.

Site Fees: $10, 13 years and older, non-member surcharge in effect, minors
$5, 6-12 years, and those under 6 are free. Family Cap will be $45, not including non-member surcharge. Make checks payable to Barony of Aquaterra, SCA, Inc.
RV Fees: $12.50 per night, electric only.
