It’s all about Guilds
and Crafts and the Arts and Sciences and how our Spring event keeps
getting “Sprung”….sooooo….

If you are in a guild and would like to share your guild
with new members, come join us.

If you are looking for new activities to do in the SCA and
for people to do them with, come join us…

This should be a laid back day of meeting and greeting and
sharing our favorite things to do about our hobby with other
converts!  

The kitchen will be open to culinary types. There is some
room outside in the grass, but as an Oregon park, throwing knives
and archery are not permitted.  Dogs on leashes and horses can
be talked about, but we don’t have accomodations for them at this
event. ;D 

Just what guilds and interests are out there in An Tir? We
will have the Embellishers, the Lampworkers, a Scribe…any
Armorer’s guild folk, Costumer’s guild…What about the culinary
types?

The kitchen is just begging for you to come use it! There
will be a prize for the attendee who visits from farthest away and
a door prize. 

Hauksgardr
welcomes representatives from any and all of the Guilds of An Tir
to join us on May 12 to share your knowledge of the skills of the
Middle Ages and the craft and steps to joining your
guild.

The canton
will be hosting a snack table throughout the day to keep the pangs
of hunger at bay. But feel free to contribute as you will. The
kitchen will be open for culinary types to show off their mad
skills to an appreciative audience or willing students. There are
also 5 restaurants within a few blocks and one local market if
medieval fare or snack food isn’t to your taste for the entire day,
or you are welcome to bring your own dinner.

Site fee: $5 for Adults, Non-Member Surcharge $5 applies, Youth
12-17 $2, under 12 free. Site is discretely wet, please use
non-modern eating and drinking containers. Make checks payable to
“SCA Inc, Barony of 3 Mountains.”

Camping rental at the park for $15-$25 can be secured by calling
the Port of Cascade Locks Park or by filing out a reservation
envelope on site. There are 20 mixed tent and RV campsites for
those guests who would like to spend more time enjoying the
Columbia Gorge.
