The ancient texts speak of Fimbulvintr, a time when snow will
come
from all
directions, for years on end with no sight of the sun. War
will cover
the
earth, and brother will fight brother… sounds like feast
season.
Silverhart invites you to join us in our feast hall and share
in the
larders
of the Canton. Mead will flow amid the many epic tales of
valor, and if
you
are willing to do battle perhaps you may send a few on to
Valhalla before Ragnarok begins. —Turkey and ham will be
provided by the Canton. Pot luck dishes by modern last
name:
**A-I bring salads**
**J-R bring side dishes**
**S-Z bring desserts**
–The site opens at 12:00 noon and closes at 10:00 p.m.–
There will be armored fighting, A&S competition ( bonus
points for documentation and/or creative winter fighting
gear), we are working on A&S classes(so far, we have
classes on period cheeses and jellies, and etiquette) and
INDOOR ARCHERY has been
finalized.
