  Welcome to
Fimbilvinter! The Feast of Fools is soon to commence. We
welcome all to this most unique festival in the final throes
of winter. It is a time to celebrate the coming of spring by
turning the day upside down and backwards. There will be
dancing, tournaments, food, drink, friends, and activities
for all ages and interests to help warm the heart and
hearth.

 

There will
be a Fools Gold Raffle for a mystery prize. You may choose
one of two types of tickets. One could win a fabulous prize,
but then again, it may win you the fool’s
gold…choose wisely.

 

There will
be a championship for the slyest at games, the craftiest at
A&S (bring anything you have been working on during the
long winter to show off), and the coveted crowns of Misrule!
Their Majesties of Misrule shall rule the day with mischief
as they see fit. There shall also be dancing, a garb class
(no fee required), also there will be a tournament outside
for you hearty souls wishing to pound the rust out of your
opponents armor.

 

Feasting
will be a potluck with dessert served first.

 

All
merchants are welcome at no cost to display their wares, and
are asked to contact the autocrat if they chose to do
so.

 

Site fee is
$10 for adults, $5 for children; with a $3 discount for adult
members. Please make checks payable to the “SCA Inc.,
Canton of Silverhart”. Site opens at 11am, and closes
at 10pm. This is a “dry” site so please use
discretion.
