The snow may be deep in the highlands, but the Shire of Dregate will herald in the Year of the Rat with an evening of feasting and revelry at the Festival of Red Lanterns.  Come celebrate the new year with the traditional Dragon Dance and fireworks!  The Omak Inn – (509)826-3822 has offered reduced room prices.  However, reservations must be made no later than January 15, 2008 to get the discount (and don’t forget to mention you’re with the SCA).

 

This years feast will be cooked by HL Conuil Carric.  Seating is limited so we are taking pre-paid reservation.  For feast reservations please contact Companion Osorgarow Ujin (Kim Jacobs) 509-486-1021 (odredful@hotmail.com)  NO calls after 9 pm please.

Site info:  Riverside Grange at 317 N. Main Street in Riverside Washington.  The site is discreet.  The site opens at 4 pm; feast will begin at 6 pm.  Site closes no later than midnight.

The site fee will be $10 for adults ($3 non-member surcharge), $5 for youth 7-14, 6 and under are free; Family cap of $30.  If you arrive without a reservation we will seat you after those with reservations.  Make checks payable to SCA, Inc, Shire of Dregate.
