The Egil Skallagrimson Memorial Tournament is returning for
the 35th year in a row. Please join us on Memorial Day
weekend, May 22nd-25th, at beautiful Lynx Hollow Park outside
of Creswell, Oregon. Egil’s XXXV will be autocrated by Ariana
Aislinn and HL Elizabeth Turner de Carlisle. Rest assured
that all the same things that made Egil’s so great last year
will be returning this year! Things to look for:

• An even bigger, better, and more extensive Artisans’
  Village!
• Many of the same silly activities from Sunday Sillies
  last year, plus some all new forms of foolery!
• The grand, glorious, and tons-of-fun Three Pillars
  competition, with fabulous handmade prizes!
• Fighting, fighting, and more fighting! Double elim,
  holmgang, archery, thrown weapons, and more!
• The traditional Egil’s bardic – come for a little bit of
  silliness and a whole lot of fun! New bards welcome, and
  anyone can watch. Join us for an evening of fireside musical
  and poetic delights!

Dates to remember: Merchant registration is
due by May 1st, 2009, and general preregistration is due by
May 15th, 2009. Preregistering saves you $2 off the fee at
gate!

Site fees are as follows:

Adults (18+) – $15 ($17 at gate)

Non-member adults – $18 ($20 at gate)

Youths (13-17) – $10 ($12 at gate)

Children (6-12) – $7 ($9 at gate)

Children (0-5) – Free

Pets – $3 ($5 at gate)

Remember, pets are limited to cats, dogs, and non-livestock
birds, aged more than 6 months, with proof of current rabies
vaccination.  Proof must show an expiration date and can
either be mailed with the pre-registration or presented at
gate upon arrival.  We want you to stay, but the Park
won’t let your pet in without the proof of vaccination!

Send your completed form(s) (found on the Egil’s website at
www.egils.org) along with a check or money order (US funds
only) made payable to:  “SCA Inc., Barony of
Adiantum”  For safety’s sake, please don’t
send cash! Questions about preregistration and merchanting
