Daffodil Tournament and Dance is fast approaching and this year will be a treat for everyone! This event is not to be missed and will be a ton of fun!
Things to do!
Heavy and Rapier championships hopefully with a twist of fighting in amongst a treed Eric (if weather permits) followed swiftly by an all-afternoon and evening dance including all levels of experience, and games tavern with snacks provided. We will have our traditional Arts & Science (A&S) challenge of a Daffodil in any Medium which is always fun and interesting. We will have lovely merchants to do trade with and classes to expand your knowledge.
We will have delicious day food (at a cost) arranged by Lady Giovanna and two stew options (vegan and meat) (for a small fee) later in the evening. Guests are welcome to bring their own food for dinner or utilize Skip The Dishes. Complimentary snacks will be provided later in the evening by the fabulous Seagirt Culinary Guild.
The following day we will be at our Metchosin range (4409 Bennett Road) for archery and thrown weapons challenges with prizes! Please note that if you have not attended the Saturday’s festivities then there is a gate fee of $10 ($5 discount for members).
We do not have any pre-registration however we do have a list of accommodations!

Complimentary Wifi, Complimentary Electric Car Charging stations, Complimentary parking. Golf, Spa, Fitness Centre, outdoor heated pool. Yes to pets for a fee. Accessible Suites available.
Moon Water Lodge (approx 20 mins to site)
Complimentary Wifi, Complimentary parking, decent restaurant (and convenient gas station), Spa on site with in room massage. Can I just say, if you stay here you will be pretty blown away. It is on the top of the Malahat and overlooks stunning views. They also have options of arrival baskets of fruit/cheese/wine/beer (at a cost). Could not find accessibility information on their website.

There will be day food provided by Lady Giovanna. Please see the facebook group as she organizes the whole thing and most food will be pre-purchase. In the evening there will be an option to purchase for a small fee a bowl of stew and home baked buns; both meat and vegan options will be available. There will be some snacks provided for the dance and games. Yes, there is a tavern!
There will be BOTH Heavy and Rapier tournaments held for the title of Seagirt’s champions. If the weather is nice we will try to have fun by fighting amongst a small copse of trees. If the weather is not going to work for outdoor fighting we have a charming indoor space.
