Skagit County, WA June 10 – 12, 2005 The Shire of Midhave
wishes to invite all to our Shire’s Champion’s Tourney. There
will be all the usual tourney competitions of Heavy’s,
Rapier, Archery, Thrown Weapon’s and for fun, a combat
Archery Box Tourney. For everyone else there will be other
games to be played all day… Croquette, Bocci Ball, Darts
and Hunkerhausen. Saturday nite there will be a Bardic
Bonfire competition in the Pit. Parent’s please beware that
the Samish River and a pond are onsite, so watch your smalls!
Any animal’s brought onsite are the sole responisbility of
the owner. Pets must be leashed and scooped. There is a
limited water supply so please bring your own potable water.
All fires are above ground and no open flame please. This is
a wet site, please use only period containers. Merchant fee
will be $14 for one merchant site and a 10′ x 10′ space fee.
Anything larger in the frontage larger than 10′ x 10′ will be
an additional $1.00 per frontage foot. Then any merchant
signing up after June 1st will have to pay $1.00 per frontage
foot and the site fee. Please contact the Merchancrat, Jann,

10th to all and closes at 5pm on the 12th. Site Fee: $10 for
16 yrs and up $6 for 6-15 yrs 5 yrs and under are free $26
family cap 1/2 price for each age group and family cap for
day tripping Per Kingdom law there is a $3 fee for adult
non-members in addition to the site fee. Make checks payable
to “Shire of Midhaven, SCA Inc”. Driections: From I-5 North,
take exit 236 and turn right. From I-5 South, take exit 236
and turn left. Cross Old Hwy 99, continuing on Prairie Rd
till you reach Hwy 9. The Samish School will be on the left
hand corner. Take a left onto Hwy 9, go through the curves
and down the hill. The driveway is just before the Firehouse.
