If you listen very closely to the winds that whisper over our noble mountains and fields of grass and grain you can hear them… war drums… the sound of marching armies… a horse’s whinny… armor and weapons of war clanking to the rhythm of stomping feet… the call to arms… “Come all you Artemisians! Fight to protect our lands, our families and comrades!”… “Up your arms An Tir! They march to our borders. Let’s rise so that together we may be mighty in battle!”

Come join us, whether you’re Artemisian or An Tirian, for a weekend of friendly WAR! There are plenty of competitions to try your skills – heavy war, rapier war, A & S Competition for catagories in Leather, Wood, Fiber Arts, Scribal Arts and Misc., archery, best humorous period song Bardic competition and several other small competitions to test your hand. Bumblebee Meadows (same site as last year and the year before) is the chosen theatre of war. A scenic, yet primitive site with a picturesque steam (watch smalls), keep in mind that you will need to pack water and watch for information on fire danger as the event nears.

Site opens 4 PM on Friday and closes 1 PM on Sunday. Site Fees are $7.00 per adult with membership/$10.00 without membership, $ 5.00 6-14, 5 and under free, Day Fee $5.00

Directions: Take I-90 to Kingston Idaho Exit #43. Go North on Forest Road #9 for approx. 6 miles. Turn left on Forest Rd. #209 and proceed for 3 miles to Bumblebee Meadows on the left side of the road. Do not go to Bumblebee Campground on the right, SCA signs will be posted. No physical address for this site.
