The salt spray feels cool on your face as you heartily explore the open seas, looking for distant shores. Who knows what treasures they hold? You will…as soon as you get there! Wait…is that a tower peeking through the mist in the distance…? You clutch your spear in anticipation…
Meanwhile, in the tower…
You knew the dangers of the world, and possessed a certain confidence that you were equipped enough to survive. And then they came. In ships unlike any other, with carved prows and threshing oars…are these your new overlords? Quick…you must defend what is yours…
The populace of Wealdsmere is pleased to welcome you as we relive some of the most famous battles of the Viking era, starting with the landing at Lindisfarne!
Come, join us in our endeavors! Band together and create your War Parties! War points will be abundant, and available to any and all!

All SCA members who can provide a CURRENT Blue Card will receive $5 discount at Gate!

There shall be much War to be had!
The Heavy War shall focus on historical battles from across Viking history!
The Rapier War shall be as equally exciting and explorative!
There shall be a youth Viking Longship race!
We shall also witness RAGNAROK! The Youth fighters shall compete for the Binding of Jormungandr and the (unofficial) title of Champion of Midgard for the next year.
I have heard words spoken that there shall be an epic Bardic competition!
A&S shall be another opportunity for War points!
There shall be a Competitive Feast, as well! (Extra points may possibly be awarded to the War Party with the best Lentil dish!)
Speaking of extra points, there will be opportunities for anyone with a heart of service to earn additional war points for their teams!
Come, let us all show our prowess in all arenas, be they on or off the field of battle!
