At this event we will once again be hosting our championships
for Heavy Armored Combat, Archery,  and Thrown Weapons.

  • The armored combat tournament will be conducted by our champion
HL Nicolai Rabenis von Tachov; the format will be selected based on
    attendance.
  • The archery champion Lady Sadb an Fheadha would like her
tournament to include stealth and be based on a hunt.  If you
have any physical activity restrictions and wish to participate
    please contact Sadb at McConnell.alex.j(at)Gmail.com
  • The thrown weapons championship will be conducted by our
champion Vanya Refrson in the format of a hunt. His words
    follow.
  • The youth championships will have bardic, arts and sciences
components and are being organized by Lady Renna Ravenswald.
My lords and ladies,
gather all. It comes time for the anual boars head feast. But boar
is not all. For the thrown weapons championship we will be using
traditional hunting weapons. The rabbit stick for some lovely
conies. The sling for partridge or quail, and the the throwing
spear for the mighty boar. Come try your hand at the hunting arts,
and compete to be the next thrown weapons champion of Dragons
Mist!

The feast will feature a spitted pig and potluck dishes supplied
by attendees.  The feast is optional and costs $7 for ages 13+
(children 12 and under eat free). We ask each household to bring a
dish to serve 8+ people with the following recommended
breakdown:

  • Surnames A-F: bread, dips, german pasta (spätzle is a
    great idea!)
  • Surnames G-M: meat (chicken and beef dishes encouraged as pork
    is already covered)
  • Surnames N-T: fruits, vegetables
  • Surnames U-Z: dessert dishes

His Excellency Finn Grim will hold court beginning in the
morning to invoke the championships and continuing during the
feasting.
