.Bite Of An Tir July 29, 2006 Barony of Aquaterra Welcome all
to A Bite of An Tir! Ever wonder what makes Medieval food
different from Modern? What is Verjus, what are cubebs, how
do you get milk from almonds? Learn the difference between
Old World and New World foods. Learn what foods are
appropriate for your own persona. Come and sample culinary
delights from many lands and times in the SCA period. Taste
basic medieval food ingredients, spices, sauces and sweets.
Tasting begins at Noon, with a simple dinner served at 6pm.
The Grange Hall has a nice lawn to picnic on in the
afternoon. There will be a dart tourney, and Baron
Andreu’s famous obstacle course Bocce. Children’s
activities, Bardic, Dancing, and more! Site: South Lake
Stevens Grange, 2109 103 RD Ave. SE, Everett WA 98205 Site
opens at 10 am and closes at Midnight. This is a Dry Site.
Gate: Adults $12, Children 12 and under $6, children 5 and
