Barony of Montengarde
Have you heard the latest rumour out of Montengarde?
Apparently the snow DOES actually melt there! And you know
what those kooky Minotaurs do when the ice finally melts off
their horns right? They drop trow and run amok!
Oh how the bards do sing the praises of spring after a cold
frozen winter. In fact, they sing it so well, Beothuk
of the Beothuks and his lovely lady Wilma the Still do invite
all bards to come and sing in the spring for a chance to be
their newest Barional champion of the Bardic Arts!
Arts of more scientific nature are welcome and
encouraged. The Arts and Sciences council of
Montengarde will be holding a prize competition.
Documentation is optional (but underwear is not!) We will be
lookin up those tunics and down those bodices to see what you
have on underneath.
If you aren’t comfortable with a couple of ladies looking
down your pluderhosen, bring something else spring themed to
enter. Again, written documentation is not needed, but be
prepared to explain your entry!
Not to leave our more martially inclined larks in the cold,
prizes will be given for competitions featuring the martial
art forms of Heavy, Rapier and Archery.
With the planting of the fields for a new season, its only
fitting we turn out our winter stores of food and carouse in
fine form. Drink and be merry while dining on the
delicious delicacies devised by His Lordship himself Ellias
So come join the frivolous festivities and ring in the spring
