Baronial Combat Championships
Barony of Stromgard, June 28-30, 2002
Stevenson, WA

To Arms! To Arms! All potential StormGods don your armor!

The Barony of Stromgard is in need of successors to the titles of Baronial
Combat Champions. Sir Torfin Torgulson courageously led our forces through
many battles and stood beside the Baron as guard. Now, he calls forth all
contenders who believe they possess the skill and fortitude to overtake his
claim. Heavy armor, rapier, whalebone, and boffer Champions sought.

Whalebone/boffer championships will be held under the guidelines in place at
the time–come prepared. For updated information, contact the autocrat.

At tournament’s end when there stands only one combatant for each title,
join our citizens for a potluck Champions’ feast. Bring a contribution to
share.

As the sun sinks below the trees, Baroness Miranda invites all bards to
sing, tell tales, and entertain the masses as part of the Bardic
Championship. The theme, in keeping with the inspiration Their Majesties
have provided to Kingdom and Barony, is that of Love.

So, come for the excitement of the fights, talents of the bards, and
enjoyment of a lovely mountain site. Witness the investiture of the
Champions who will face the dragon when he wakes!
