Ogedei Khan and Ifatahyo Khatun do
hereby invite you
to join them at this years summer Cornet
this coming June. Come and bear witness as the mightiest fighters
in the land battle to be named the successor to the thrones of
Avacal. Battles will be fought with sword and shield, with bow and
arrow with rapier and dagger, and at the end of the day all will
rejoice in fellowship and revelry. Come one, come all to Summer
Cornet.

 

           
To all who wish to vie for the Cornet of Avacal heed the words of
our Kahn.

 

Here
are the requirements to fight in our Coronet. These are in addition
to the Laws of Avacal.

1) Double elimination tournament
2) Standard An Tir shield conventions
a. Round: 30” Max, measured elbow to elbow
b. Heater/rectangle: chin to crotch sitting high and shoulder point
to shoulder point wide
c. Oval: do not exceed 707 square inches in total surface area
3) No more than three combined striking surfaces
4) Madus:
a. In general these will not be allowed.
b. IF you have documentation that your persona used such a weapon
AND you are making a reasonable attempt to portray said persona
upon the field, we may allow such a weapon provided it is built in
a realistic manner.
c. Our word is final, if you have doubts about anything you wish to
fight with, get it checked with us PRIOR to Coronet
5) Those wishing to enter our list must present themselves with
displayed heraldry. This heraldry does not need to be passed with
the College of Heralds

 

 

Site opens on Friday June
1st at 4:00PM and closes on Sunday June 3rd
at 2:00PM

Cost per person, includes
camping.

Adult $20.00 Youth (13-17)
$10.00 Children (10 and under) Free

Non member surcharge of $5.00
applies.  

Plenty of camping space is
available. If you are bringing a RV or Trailer please contact the
autocrat (Ellias Silver) in order to make
arrangements.
