Sigelhundas Archery Extravaganza & Champion’s Tourney

Thomas Wollffe invites one and all to come try your hand at his archery
extravaganza. Who knows, you might become the Shire Archery Champion.

There will be a total of 15 different shoots for you to try your hand at:

Wand, Clout, William Tell, Snowball’s Chance, Rat Invasion, Attacking
Knight, Charge the Knight, Shooting from horseback, Sleeping Dragon, Hit the
Archer in the Arrow-slit, Medieval Prize Bird, Blow out the Candle,
Tic-Tac-Toe, The Water Level, Chicken and the Egg

You can shoot in all events if you wish but you MUST shoot in 5 of them to
be considered for Shire Champion. Your top 5 scores will count towards being
Champion so the more shoots you do, the better your scores (maybe).

Heavy Armoured Combat and Rapier Combat will take place if someone wants
them to and lets me know they wish to run them at the event.

Dates: August 26, 27, 28, 2005
Place: Camp Gilwell (between Fort Qu’applle and Lebret SK, where Pillage
Practice is)
Time: Gates open on the 26th at 6:00pm
Site Costs:
SCA Inc. Members: Weekend – $15.00
Day – $5.00
Family Weekend – $60.00
Family Day – $20.00
Note: a family is – 2 adults and up to 3 kids

Non-members: Weekend – $19.00
Day – $9.00
Family Weekend – $60.00 + $4.00 per non-member in family
Family Day – $20.00 + $4.00 per non-member in family
Note: a family is – 2 adults and up to 3 kids
